Pachysandra

Description: Pachysandra (Chinese: 黄杨科,富贵草) is a genus of five species of evergreen perennial or subshrubs, belonging to the boxwood family Buxaceae. Pachysandra is native to eastern Asia and southeast North America. Pachysandra can grow to 20-45cm, with only weakly woody stems. The leaves are alternate, leathery, with an entire to coarsely toothed margin. The small uni-sexual blooms are greenish-white and produced in late spring or early summer.
