Purple dead-nettle
Description: purple/red dead-nettle (Chinese: 唇形科,小野芝麻属, 小野芝麻/紫色死荨麻) is a herbaceous flowering plant native to Europe and Asia and intrusive in parts of the United States. It grows to 5-20cm in height. The leaves are green at the bottom and shade to purplish at the top. The leaves have fine hairs with serrated margins. The flowers are bright red-purple, with a top hood-like petal. Two lower lip petal lobes and minute fang-like lobes between.
